On June 7th 2014, a few of the Kung Fu Heroes performed on stage with students of South Coast Martial Arts Wushu and Kung Fu program to a sold out crowd of over 900 at the Robert B Moore Theater. The show was a fundraiser to support future events of Team Tupua and South Coast Martial Arts. Hyper Martial Arts hosted a Weapons Training certification at the Kung Fu Heroes Head quarters in Costa Mesa, California. The program was led by Hyper Pro founder Roland Osborne and lasted over 4 hours covering basic techniques for Staff, Kama, Nunchaku and Katana. During this event, members of Hyper Martial Arts were also introduced to a few of the Kung Fu Heroes and they learned more about the collaboration project Hyper Kung Fu with Philip Sahagun. On Saturday April 13th I hosted my first ever student proffeciency exam at South Coast Martial Arts in Costa Mesa. After spending some three hours testing basics, forms, flexibility, speed drills etc. masters from our guest pannel offered advice to the young students how to better themselves in the art of Kung Fu and Wushu. #southcoastmartialarts

Another day of morning practice began at 5 am. Running 1 mile, Wushu Kicking, Line Basics, Push Palm 1/4 mile, Crawling down stairs and Drop Stance Pierce Palm for one mile; then we ran back. On day 6 the students woke up to over 1,000 kicks and a number of different stance training before breakfast. This is training!
