In summer of 2010 Philip Sahagun launched the Kungfu Heroes, a dynamic new martial arts group who aim to inspire others through Martial Arts practice. As part of the heroes debut six members entered into one of the biggest televised talent competitions in the world, America's Got Talent. The Kungfu Heroes would perform in Hollywood, Las Vegas and even the Quarter finals before facing elimination. Check out the clips here.

In April of 2007 Jackie Chan announced over his birthday that he was beginning a new reality TV Show which would aim to search for future successors to his film empire on a international level. The following September Xin Wuku and Philip Sahagun alongside numerous others entered into the North American Division of Jackie Chan's televised search. After winner the US finals the two arrived in Beijing January 2007 to begin filming and face eliminations.

On March 30th 2006, Shenzhen Television together with the Shaolin Temple, declared the official start of China's largest scale reality television program, Kungfu Star. It's aim, to search for potential Kungfu stars globally to find a new spokesperson of Chinese Kungfu for future generations. After being a finalist in the North American competition Philip flew to China to enter the world finals which included temple seclusions, competition and numerous live performances.
